Our learning during the month of October!

Have a look at some of the fun activities we did during the month of October! We learned all about the Supermarket as part of our Play time theme. We read the story Owl Babies by Martin Waddell and created some beautiful art during play time too.

We went on nature walks in small groups and with our friends from 6th class green. We had lots of fun learning about how our environment changes during the season of autumn.

Finally, we learned about the festival of Halloween which is celebrated in Ireland and around the world on October 31st. We could dress up for Halloween on Friday 28th October if we wanted. We did a parade around the school to show off our costumes and had a party to celebrate all our hard work we've done in our first two months in Esker!
