Audible - which is owned by Amazon are offering free streams of children's audio stories across six languages. Listening to stories read aloud can help improve your child's reading skills. You don't need to create an account to listen, just select the audio book and click 'start listening'. All available titles can be accessed via phone, laptop or tablet at https://stories.audible.com/start-listen Every day at 11 am, you can also listen to one of David Walliam's 'World's Worst Children' books on the 'Elevenses' page at https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/. Folens Online: 1) Select Teacher 2) Fill in username, email and password 3) For Roll Number use the code Prim20 Search for Abair Liom 3rd Class, the children are very familiar with how to use the Abair Liom resources and can revise what we have done. I will send specific topics to look at in the coming days. The children may also play interactive maths games that can be found in Planet Maths 3rd Class resources. Go on a 3D shape hunt in your house and record the shapes you find. Do something kind for someone: can you pay someone a compliment, make something for them or help them with a task? Read aloud to someone with expression. Keep a diary - write about what you are seeing in the news, how you feel and how you and your family have been passing the time. What is closed in our country? Keep your diary safe. These are historic times and your diary is written evidence. It is an opportunity to record our experiences and save them for the future.
