Hi Everyone! Friday assembly, with a message from Colette, Gemma, Linda, Catherine and teachers will be available from the school website later today so look out for that. Hope you are getting on well. Send me any pictures or projects you have done by email and let me know if you want me to share them and I can put them on the blog. Heidi
Here are this week's GAA skills that David Moran GPO from Lucan Sarsfields has prepared for us all. First do the warm up. Next it's Football or Sock Ball! Next it is Hurling. If you don't have a hurl use a stick or brush handle! Lastly it's a game of knee touch. Great fun!!
Thanks to David Moran from Lucan Sarsfields for helping us with our GAA. Don't forget, the previous videos from David are further back on our class blog. This is Karlo's famine project. Fantastic work! Keep sending them in everyone!
Heidi Morning Everyone! How are you all? Did you know that today is World Autism Day. Another way to celebrate all of our unique qualities. Things to remember: 1. If you do a famine project, send it to me and I can put it on the blog to show others if you would like that. 2. Catherine is running a writing competition which you can see the details of if you scroll down through the blogs. 3. Don't forget RTE 2 Home School at 11 until 12 o'clock today. Below is today's work. Thinking of you all. Heidi
Happy April Fools Day!! Today is April Fools day where you can play a small prank on someone. (Obviously I would never squish a spider really but it looks like a giant one escaped!!!!!) Here is today's work too. Have fun! Heidi
Hi Everyone Hope you are all well. I miss you all. I've included RTE 2 Home School Hub in today's work. I watched it yesterday and I found it very good even though my son broke our hairdryer after it, so be careful!! If you click on the link below it will bring you to yesterday's programme if you missed it. https://www.rte.ie/player/series/rt%C3%A9-home-school-hub/SI0000006854?epguid=IP000065950&clipguid=PI000015610 Tune in today to RTE 2 on your TV or on the RTE player between 11 and 12. Also below is today's suggested work for 4th Red. Heidi
Hope you are all well. Below is today's at home suggested work. PE with David Moran is in the blog below this. Catherine's writing competition is still ongoing too. Heidi 😃
David Moran is the Games Promotion Officer with Lucan Sarsfields's GAA Club. David visited our classroom earlier this year with the Sam Maguire Cup when Dublin won the All Ireland Men's Football Final. Dublin won the All Ireland Ladies Football Final too. Next year we will have both the Sam Maguire and the Brendan Martin cup visit 😊! Below are some videos David has prepared to help you with your GAA skills. If you don't have a ball or a hurl it's still ok as David has made a sock ball and he gives us a good tip about using a sweeping brush handle as a hurl! Thanks David for all the great GAA work you do in Esker ETNS. Let's get active and have fun! Warm Up Football or sock ball! Hurling/ Camogie or stick and sock ball! A Game - North South East and West.
Morning everyone! Here is some suggested work for you today. Also, have a look below at Catherine's writing competition. Heidi
Morning 4th Red! Hope everyone is doing ok. Here are Thursday’s work suggestions for you. Heidi
