Term 2 in 5th Class Green

​STEMpathy 

This term, everyone in 5th Class Green embarked on their STEMpathy journey. This exciting project blends science, technology, engineering, maths to develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges, all driven by empathy and creativity, and we are eagerly looking forward to presenting our final projects!

World Book Day 

On the 6th of March, we celebrated World Book Day with a fun Book Buffet to encourage reading for pleasure. Everyone got to ‘taste’ some of their favourite books and discover new ones in a relaxed, enjoyable way. It was a great chance to dive into different genres!

Athletics & Gymnastics 

​This term in PE, we got the chance to participate in a variety of athletics events with Niamh from SDCC, where we developed new skills that we can use in future athletic activities. We also explored balance through gymnastics, working in pairs and small groups to improve our skills.

Crazy Day!

We joined in the fun for Crazy Day by dressing in funny outfits, bringing anything but a bag, and strutting our stuff on the catwalk during the Esker ETNS fashion show. The day kicked off with a surprise when we walked into our classroom, which was completely upside down!
