World Food Day Assembly

Last week, we did our first Learn Together Assembly performance of the year. This year as we are not doing our assemblies in the hall, we recorded our performance for our assembly and it was played for the Junior Classes over Zoom. 

We learned all about World Food Day, which took place on October 16th. The children learned lots of facts about World Food Day and made posters to display what they learned. Each group took on a different topic as part of World Food Day. These were: Food Waste, Saving Water, Buying Food Locally, Be a Food Hero, Meat-Free Day. They spoke about their posters and performed a rap to help us remember to be a 'Food Hero'. You can check out the performance under the Learn Together tab on the website. 

The children worked very hard on their performance and were great examples of showing how to be a F'ood Hero'!
