Today's Activities

​Dear Parents/ Guardians,

I hope you and your family had a well deserved and safe break over St. Patrick's weekend. 
Here is the work for today as posted on Aladdin:

​-English: MSW Pg: 54 Q: 1-3
-English: Word Wizard Pg: 68/69 Q. B
-Spelling Test on Friday (at home if possible) (helpless - weakness)
-Mental Maths 
-Maths Discovery: pg: 66
​-Design and make your own kite.
-Choose one activity from the grid.
-Times tables x 10
-Reading 20 min 
-Exercise 20 mins

Test your tables on Daily 10 https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/daily10.
Go on a 3D shape hunt in your house and record the shapes you find.
Do something kind for someone: can you pay someone a compliment, make something for them or help them with a task?
Read aloud to someone with expression.
Keep a diary - write about what you are seeing in the news, how you feel and how you and your family have been passing the time. What is closed in our country? Keep your diary safe.  These are historic times and your diary is written evidence. It is an opportunity to record our experiences and save them for the future.

Libraries are closed but it is possible to download audio books and ebooks for free on librariesireland.ie/join. 
You can also join www.vooks.com for one more for free and access children's story books with animated illustrations and narrated stories.
