Esker Educate Together National School aspires to create a happy, safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where each child is provided with the opportunity to reach their highest potential.
Mission Statement
Esker Educate Together National School is a child-centred, co-educational, multi-denominational, democratically-run primary school under the patronage of Educate Together. As a National School we follow the curriculum guidelines of the Department of Education and Skills. We are committed to creating a centre of excellence for our pupils, in terms of learning and personal development, and we work co-operatively with all members of the school community to achieve this aim.
Esker ETNS strives to be a learning community where children and adults alike appreciate the value of education and personal effort; where different aspects of intelligence and a wide range of skills are recognised, fostered and celebrated; where each individual has the confidence and self-awareness to recognise their strengths and set achievable goals; where each individual demonstrates respect and empathy in their daily interactions; where each individual develops the strength of character and courage to think and act independently; and where all children are facilitated to work to their individual strengths and achieve their full potential. In Esker ETNS the uniqueness of each individual, and the differences which form part of all of us will be explored and celebrated. Each member of the school community, child and adult, will be treated with dignity and respect, and the children of Esker will mature into respectful, responsible, considerate, open-minded and imaginative members of society.
