This is our Green School Committee for this year. We are currently apply for our 5th Green School Flag for BIODIVERSITY. We will be posting updates on the Green Schools blog, under "BIODIVERSITY." Watch this space!
This year, the Green School Committee looks a little different - socially distanced and all from 5th Class! We're holding separate Green School meetings this year, so as not to mix bubbles and we're already off to a great start with this year's focus on: BIODIVERSITY! We're planning to map out the school grounds and identify areas where we can support and develop biodiversity. We're asking all classes for ideas for projects that will help plant and animal life on the school grounds. Looking forward to Springtime and all the biodiversity it will bring. Keep up-to-date with Green Schools Developments on this page and on our Esker Twitter page! Green School Committee 2019-2020 Our Green School Committee members come from 1st - 6th class. All children were democratically voted in by their classmates.
The children meet once a fortnight to discuss our progress with our Action Plan in working towards our 4th Green Flag for Transport. Remember WOW days - walk, scoot, cycle or park & stride. |
