Carambola 

We are very lucky that our school is part of the Free School Meals Program funded by the Department of Social Protection and our provider is Carambola. Your child's lunch will be delivered, free of charge, fresh to our school each morning.

Your child's account details are on their lunch bag and you can login to the Carambola with your child to choose their school lunches. There is plenty of choice and you can change regularly.

You can follow this link to the Carambola website to login and make menu choices. Class teachers and the school secretary do not have access to your child's account but if you having difficulties logging into the site you can contact Carambola directly here. 

Healthy Lunch Policy 

Please remember that in the interest of pupils health we have a healthy lunch policy. Children should have a refillable water bottle. Our tap water is filtered and safe to drink. Children should bring water to school instead of juices. All Carambola products are allowed however if for some reason you are giving your child an alternative lunch the following items are among those not allowed in school. 

• Fizzy drinks
• All types of bars
• Cereal Bars
  
• Crisps 
• Salted products 
• Popcorn
• Sweets
• Any sugary products
• Biscuits 
  
• Processed/fast foods like pizza/hotdogs etc.
