We have been enjoying the summer sunshine here in Junior Infants Green. Over the last few weeks, we have had our school tour, sports day, active week and some visits to the park! The children absolutely love spending time outside with their friends. Check out the pictures below of our latest adventures: Junior Infants visited our local post box in February. We learned all about the Post Office. The children loved posting a Valentine's Day letter to their loved ones at home. We hope you enjoyed the surprise when it arrived! We had such a lovely time during 'Mother Tongue Week'. Every class in the school decorated their door. Our country was Spain. We enjoyed learning about flamenco dancing, Spanish food and the flag. We also loved trying the different foods the parents made for us in the hall. During November and December, we looked at the construction site and Winter wonderland. We have really been enjoying it all. Junior Infants have enjoyed 6 sessions of GAA with Shane from Westmanstown Gaels. They really enjoyed learning some new skills e.g catching, throwing and kicking the ball. Junior Infants are thrilled to finally have their midterm break. We had so much fun on our last Friday in school. We dressed up in special outfits, took part in the Halloween parade and had a mini disco. We had so much fun!
