In our activity stations we have been learning about different themes each month: 
January- Toys and play. February- Places. March- Spring.

We finished our Mighty Oaks public speaking programme!

In December, we had visitors from the STEMpathy programme in to do a workshop with us.

We made our own scenes and watched as they were hit by strong winds, leaving destruction in their wake! We talked about climate change and found out more about how wind turbines work as a source of renewable energy. 

Thank you to the members of the STEMpathy programme who made these fun and engaging learning experiences possible!

In November we learned about different types of houses and homes. Have a look at the pictures from our activity stations. We are especially proud of our Junk Art construction pieces. 

Before the mid-term, we all had a chance to dress in costume, traditional clothes or another outfit of our choice. The whole school walked outside. Thanks to our buddies who were from 4th class. 

1st class green won the golden boot... twice in a row.

Senior Infants had a wonderful day having lots of fun and making memories in Explorium on the 26th of June. There was so much to see and do, one of the favourites was the tyre slide! 

Garda Alan from Pearse St. Station was back with us again this year to talk with us about keeping the community safe! We tried on some uniforms and asked him lots of questions!
