I know I say I am blow away by our assemblies every week but I think this one topped all of them, if that is even possible?
We spoke about the return to the school building for junior classes, parents remember to check Aladdin and your email and our website for up to date information and always wear your mask correctly on school grounds, covering both your nose and mouth.
We learnt about the Global Goals with Paula and looked at a well managed forest.
We had Birthday Shoutout's with me.
We had OWL'S with Catherine.
We had our favourite InterColm and we had a very special episode of our Outdoor Learning series with Susan and some very special guests, you don't want to miss this one!
We hope you all enjoyed it and can watch it back again here if you missed it. We hope you all have a lovely weekend and get outside and enjoy the lovely Spring weather. We will see the junior classes in the school building on Monday and senior classes online.

It was jam packed with Birthday Shout Out's from Deirdre, we learnt how to stay safe online with Paula, Susan set us an Outdoor Challenge, Linda showed us work from this weeks OWL's, we saw some of your amazing videos and of course it wouldn't have been Friday without The InterColm !
Next Friday will be our last assembly before midterm when you will all get a much deserved holiday! Until then keep up your amazing work, we are blown away by the fantastic standard of work we see online each week so keep it up!

We love seeing amazing work at Esker and we just had to share this video two of our pupils, Daria and Davide, made after watching and completing Susan's Challenge from our assembly.

Have a great week everyone and keep up the amazing work.
I hope you have all had a lovely week. We are so impressed by all the amazing work you have done already this year. Keep up the fantastic work, we are so proud of you all.
We had our second virtual assembly of the new year today. It was great to see all our friends. Thank you to Suzan who presented us with our second 'Outdoor Challenge.' I love seeing birds in my garden and I am going to make her bird feeder today! If you would like the Bingo card for Susan's challenge you can find it on our Home School Hub here.
Remember to join in Class Zoom's with your teachers, SNA's and friends next week and join in on Zooms with your SET teacher's, it is a great way to stay connected and they might even give you a shout out for your work on Seesaw and Google Classroom.
We hope you all had a lovely, restful and safe break over the holidays. Well done on completing our first week of online learning for 2021.
We had our first Virtual Assembly of the year on Friday. It was so lovely to see all our friends again and be together. You can join our whole school Zoom every Friday at 11am.
If you missed this weeks Zoom you can catch up below.
It is nearly time for our Winter break! It has been a term like no other in the history of our school but by working together we have made it to the end of term.
Every year we love to invite our school community into our hall to watch the children perform and entertain. So much hard work goes into these performances and the children are so excited to up stand on stage and for their families to see them. Unfortunately, this year, that wasn't possible but that didn't stop us here in Esker! No, we love to problem solve here and our staff decided the show must go on but this time Zoom would be our stage.
Our teachers, SNAs, and all our staff have worked together to bring you our Esker Zoom Winter Showcase. Each class pre-recorded a performance or a showcase of their work from over the term to show to you on Zoom on 17th & 18th December 2020.
We hope you were able to join us, it meant so much to the children to see you logon and watch them preform. We know that not everyone could make it so while we can't put the recordings of the Zoom call on our website we can share the class showcases with you to watch over and over again. They will all be shared on this blog post over the coming days.
To those who will be celebrating Christmas next week we wish you a very Merry Christmas and to our families who don't celebrate Christmas we hope you have a lovely, peaceful break at home and enjoy the holiday. Stay safe everyone and we will see you in the new year.

What a memorable year to graduate primary school. Graduations are always very special occasions but I think this one will live on in everyone's memories. Our staff put in so much hard work to make this a fantastic graduation for our pupils under difficult circumstances.
I think you will all agree it was a wonderful graduation! Class of 2020 this is not goodbye, just farewell for now, we will always be here for you in Esker!
We host assemblies to share what we're learning in Learn Together.
