It is time to say goodbye to the butterflies. I will be sad to see them go but know they will have lots of fun exploring the world and feeding on lovely plants!
The red colour on the tissue you see is actually meconium which the liquid the butterflies released when they stretched their wings then they came out of their chrysalides.
Slán butterflies!! You never know you might see one of them flying if you go for your walk in Lucan!
