Here are today's home learning activities.
It has come to my attention that the accompanying voice-over videos are not working on the school website unless they are played on a PC or a laptop. i.e., they are not playing on Apple or Android powered mobile phones or tablet devices. I am aware of it, and I am working to resolve it as soon as I can. In the mean time, if you do have access to a laptop or PC, this is the best way to access all resources provided at the minute.
Thank you for your understanding.
As always, please get in touch if there is anything I can help with, or if there are any questions, queries or concerns. I am really enjoying getting update messages from the children as the days go on. I am looking forward to being back in school with them just as soon as is possible!
Good afternoon everyone,
As I mentioned in this morning's post, it had come to my attention that some of you were having difficulty accessing the Home Learning Activity Support Material.
If you have been able to access all materials, you can disregard this message, no further action is needed.
For those of you who were having difficulty, I have uploaded the voice-over videos to YouTube. Please find the links below:
Friday 27th March
Monday 30th March
Tuesday 31st March
Wednesday 1st April:
I have also reformatted the PowerPoint documents into PDFs, which are accessible to download on most devices. Please find these files attached below.
I hope this makes the materials more accessible to more of you. If you are having difficulties accessing files, or if there is anything else I can do to support you or make it easier, please do get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org
Here are your home learning activities for today.
You will notice on today's PowerPoint that some slides have a red star in the top left hand corner. These are the activities that I would really like you to try hard to get done today. All the other activities are your choice. They are suggestions for things that you might also do today.
Please get in touch via email email@example.com or via Class Dojo if I can help in any way.
Good morning everybody!
Please find attached a list of links for accessing the children's school books online. I thought it might make things easier to have all the links in one place. There are also a few further useful links which you may choose to explore together.
Please find attached a timetable for today.
Remember- I can still give Dojo points from home :-)
I hope you have all been keeping well and safe over the past few days!
As we were due to be off school yesterday and today for St. Patrick's day anyway, I won't be too cross if the school work hasn't yet started in earnest! :-)
Unfortunately, with all the parades and festivities cancelled, this is a different type of St. Patrick's day than what we are used to. However, children around Ireland have gotten really creative around this. Including one of our pupils who was featured in the articles linked below! They have gotten out the colouring pencils, paint and art materials, and they have put their St. Patrick's day art in the windows of their houses. Later, they will go for a walk and look at the art work in everyone else's house. It's like a reverse parade! In the St. Patrick's Day pack I gave you on Thursday, there were some pieces of art that you could put in your windows. This could be something wonderful for our class and school community to get involved in, and a great chance to get outside for a bit of exercise and fresh air later on! See these articles for more details:
Stay healthy, stay safe everybody.
Keep and eye on Aladdin and the school website for updates!
