Recently, 2nd Class visited Lullymore Heritage and Discovery Park. We had a fantastic day! We got a tour around the park where we saw some very old houses and we learned about how people in Ireland used to live hundreds and thousands of years ago. We got to ride the train around the park and we went into the Bog of Allen. We learned all about the wildlife and creatures that live there. We visited the pet farm where we got to feed some of the animals and we had so much fun playing in both the indoor and outdoor play areas.

RugbyThis term, 2nd Class Red got the opportunity to take part in a series of rugby lessons. They were introduced to the basic skills of rugby and played fun games to develop these skills. All of the children really enjoyed the lessons! Pancake Tuesday
Parents came to visit our classroom during maths week. We had so much fun playing maths games together! Recently, we tried out coding. We used the Lego wedo programme and it was so exciting building an electric fan! Last week, it was our turn to perform at the Learn Together assembly. We decided that the theme of our assembly performance would be respect. Respect is currently the core value of the month at Esker ETNS and we had been learning all about respect in class. We showcased our learning in our performance. Check it out below! We enjoyed our visit from a local Beekeeper. His name is Joe. We learned about how important bees are and we learned lots of facts about them!
