We're busy getting ready for our attendance drive starting next Monday the 3rd of February. We're aiming to have as many children as possible attending school for the 14 days of February. If you're child is sick, please keep them at home, otherwise they should be in school. Even before or after an appointment, please bring them in!!
Any child who comes in every school day in February will be put into a draw for a Smyths voucher and there will be a prize for the class with the highest attendance overall. Excellent attendance at school is important to allow you to be the best you can be and aim for a bright future. Children who go to school regularly are more likely to make friends, to do well in school and be involved in their community. #strivefor5

![]() Autism: Parent and Educational Professional Training Sessions Middletown Centre for Autism will be running a series of workshops on different aspects of Autism in Esker. The course begins on February 24th and runs for five Mondays in a row, with a break in the middle for St. Patrick's Day. These courses are open to all members of the school community and we encourage parents to take part. Booking online and in advance of the course starting is essential. The course will be run from our school but will be open to parents from other schools, so book early to avoid disappointment. In order to book online, you need to 1.) Log on to https://www.middletownautism.com/training/parents 2.) Search for the dates in Feb/ March starting with Feb 24th, select Rep of Ireland and then Dublin and scroll to Esker Educate Together. 3.) You will have to create a log in for yourself to register on the courses. 4.) You must search for each individual date to book on to the different modules. 5.) You don't have to do every module, you can choose which modules you would like to complete. Any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks, Linda. Back in September we had a great Health and Well Being week, with lots of fun things going on for students and parents. Parents were involved in a 5k walk, 1st Aid course, Zumba and infant massage. The children got to do yoga, Zumba, chill and chat and tug-o-war. A big thanks to the PTA for helping with giving out all the fruit for our healthy eating day. |
